Out of Character Part two

Again stupid blogger or user keeps flipping photo Second project with the Out of Character cartridge. This maybe my new go to cart when I am needing a funky font or title for my scrapbook pages or cards. The title was cut at four inches. I also used Life is a Beach cartridge for the palm trees. The paper is from the BoBunny summer line. I just love the bright colors. Pink buttons and thread were added to the palms for added dimensions. I think the buttons made for some interesting coconuts. If you love the Cricut or are unsure if you want to purchase one. Go to the new blog cricutfanatics.blogspot.com New blog that features all things Cricut! Also, go to cricut.com and check out the new project center. If all the cool stuff does not convince you I do not know what will. God bless and keep crafting!

Out of Character part 1

Sorry about photo for some reason when I upload to Blogger the picture flips. Hello! Today's scrapbook page comes from the summer BoBunny line and the Out of Character Cricut Cartridge. At first I was not certain I would like this cart. But I love it now. It complements my Font Envy cartridge. I used the LOL phrase cut at four inches. I used the CCR to manipulate the image until I liked the look of it. I used three layers to get the dimensions I liked. I used Life's a Beach to create the Palms. Next, I used buttons and thread to add a fun touch. I also cut out the surfboards on the paper for a cool layering effect. The story behind the picture-we stayed at a home we rented in Panama City. This was at the time Hurricane Debby and Jim Cantore came to town. We took the kids to the beachy dollar tree version. Of course what did they buy PCB tube tops. I could not resist taking a family photo of this. I think it might be my Christmas card. The older sister had to work I will have to photoshop her in it and put Santa hats on each one. God bless and keep crafting!

My Puppy Boy

I have become one of those people who obess about their dog. I never saw this coming. My kids have become older and have their own things to do. Instead of having another child' my husband opted for me to get a dog-Houdini the Havanese. He is like a fifth kid. The Hou man is so excited to see me and just wants to be with me. I even scrapbook about him. So today's crafting extravaganza is featuring my dog.
I used the Cricut Paper Dogs cartridge. One of my favorite all time cartridges. I cut various icons out and staggered them across the layout until I got them the way I liked. The paper I believe might be from BoBunny. I loved the navy, yellow and burgundy. Thanks and keep crafting! God Bless!
