Bible journaling with Prima Dolls

Bible journaling has become a very important and peaceful retreat for me. In the past years, I really have not read the Bible a whole bunch. Now that I am bible journaling I am reading and thinking about the word of God. This creative process has given be a new found joy in the Bible. My friend and I gather once a month to eat and draw then eat some more. This particular entry is a tag that I can flip up to reveal the verse. The Prima Doll is from this Springs release. The doll stamp is called Collette. The paper is from Graphic 45's line, "By the Sea". The anchor is from a Cricut cartridge. The wash tape is from Simple Stories. Most importantly the verse is from Hebrews stating that Jesus is my anchor. Hope you enjoyed! God bless and craft on!

Maison Pierre Bed and Breakfast New Orleans Layout

Last October of 2015, my family and I travelled to the Big Easy. We decided to stay at a bed and breakfast called Maison Perrier. I choose this bed and breakfast because it was outside of the French Quarter in the Garden District. I wanted to stay somewhere different but close to the city center. Maison Perrier fit the bill perfectly. We could get a trolley pass and go to and from the French Quarter with ease. The Maison Perrier is actually two buildings. Because my kids are older we could have separate rooms or buildings. They actually ended up staying upstairs from us. Both rooms were tastefully decorated and very clean. The breakfast was delicious. The accommodations were very nice. I will be staying there again. The layout is of the front of the Maison Perrier with my darling husband posing. I chose October Afternoon paper for this layout. The paper is a few years old. I finally decided that I need to use up all of my paper before getting to many newer lines. I tend to hoard paper thinking, "Oh, I will use this one day on something very special". Well that time has come and I am either selling the paper in a yard sale or using it up. For the cup, I used Stamping Up's, "A Nice Cuppa", die and stamp set. I attached the tea label by curving wire around a dowel round then attaching with glue dots. I then used a wood spoon to round out the layout with blue and white baker's twined in a bow. Hope you enjoyed! God Bless and craft on...
