Artiste

Hello! Today, I am using some vintage October Afternoon, "School Days". I used several rectangle shape to frame the photo of my little artist. To add to the layout, I used a dollhouse art palette. The heart was a doily from a Wilton baking package. The big red bow pulled the papers and photo together.

A bow can be a great way to pull your layout and photographs cohesive. Notice my daughter had a red dress on and there are specks of red on the paper. The red bow, I think, brings about a special touch.

God bless and keep scrapping!

Weather or not...

Using My Mind'sEye Eye paper from the Sophie collection, I created a springtime layout. I used my Cricut to create the umbrella and frames for the background. I used my sewing machine to create the "wonky" thread pattern. I liked the non uniform look on the umbrella.

The picture was taken on a spring day. This day was the first day of son in 12 days. Notice the playground is underwater but my kids were determined to play anyway.

Recipe Cards!

Recipe cards are a great way to frame food related pictures. The cartridge, "From the Kitchen", has a variety of recipe cards to choose from. The cartridge also has plenty of foody icons and phrases.

I used the toaster and spoon icons to add a little whimsy to the layout. Sugar(glitter) to the spoon for a little sparkle.

The papers used are from the October Afternoon collection, Homemaker.

Thanks for stopping by. God bless and keep crafting!
